Hawkesbury Park

This is an otherwise good ramp which is not properly and regularly maintained.
The ramp is often contaminated with slime and weed. This makes the ramp dangerously slippery - enough to place your car in danger of sliding into the water.
Its design does not promote water-flow over the tidal cycle, so the water sits stagnant - hence the slime.
The Council has spent significant money upgrading the pontoon, resurfacing the carpark and other things. This is no good if the ramp is not usable without a proper 4wd truck-thing.
Check the ramp before you reverse down, especially at lower tides.
